Cookies

We try to keep cookie use to the bare minimum. The Guild does not run advertising cookies or third-party trackers that build cross-site profiles of you.

What we set

• Auth cookies (sb-access-token, sb-refresh-token) — set by Supabase Auth when you sign in. Required to keep you logged in across page loads. First-party, expire on sign-out or after the session window.
• Hosting cookies — Vercel may set short-lived cookies to assist with edge routing and abuse prevention. First-party, no advertising use.

Affiliate redirects

When you click a link to a streaming platform, the destination site may set its own cookies — including affiliate-tracking cookies on the partner network's domain (e.g., sjv.io for Crunchyroll's Impact program). Those cookies are governed by the destination's policies, not ours. They are isolated from the Guild's session.

Local storage

Supabase stores a copy of your session token in localStorage as part of the standard auth flow. It is not transmitted to any third party.

How to manage

You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings. Doing so will sign you out of the Guild and prevent you from signing back in until you allow cookies from this domain.

Changes

If we ever add analytics, performance monitoring, or other categories of cookies, this page will be updated and existing accounts will be notified by email.
